Bayne provided high level communications and outreach support to the DC Department of Employment Services. We worked with senior level agency officials to bolster the visibility of key agency initiatives, build the profiles of senior agency leaders and promote agency programs. We worked with agency leadership to execute a multi-faceted but integrated marketing and communications approach to achieve agency goals.
Accomplishments:
- Worked with senior level officials to craft communications and branding strategy, messaging and collateral materials
- Implemented a comprehensive communications plan to engage District residents on key projects, resources and supports of the agency
- Provided planning, support and implementation for Industry Sector Business Roundtables and Community Conversations
- Executed a local and national media engagement strategy and secured strategic media placements, planned and organized national forums and conference presentations for DOES staff
- Provided ongoing marketing strategy, program oversight, provide event planning and implement planning for the Mayor’s Opportunity Scholarship Annual Banquet, facilitated leadership classes for the Marion Barry Leadership Institute, and provide overall general support for the Marion Barry Summer Youth program
- Provided marketing, enrollment campaign, and built the website, and database management for the D.C. 1,000 Opportunities Initiative to address summer youth violence in the District of Columbia
