The Department of For-Hire-Vehicles (DFHV) engaged Bayne LLC to provide communications and social media support. Bayne promoted DFHV’s programs to residents in all eight wards; educated the public about the agency’s authority over all for-hire-vehicles, as well as the agency’s programs and services; demonstrated the DFHV’s support for innovation and creativity in the for-hire-vehicle industry; promoted DFHV’s various programs to the public; and provided outreach and public engagement support for DFHV programs.
Promotion and Education
- Refreshed DFHV’s branding for DC School Connect, DC Neighborhood Connect, VetsRide, and Transport DC initiatives.
- Developed marketing, outreach, and social media campaigns with supportive written and visual copy.
- Developed and produced creative elements to support DFHV’s brand identity, messaging, and promotions.
- Developed and printed marketing materials to support campaigns focused on aligning the DFHV and DC Government branding to promote positive aspects of the vehicle-for-hire-industry.
- Built DFHV brand awareness by focusing on key audiences for agency programs and services
- Developed an outreach plan for DC School Connect and DC Neighborhood Connect.
- Consulted with Community Affairs and the Public Information Officer for eliciting media opportunities and pursuing media coverage, and to ensure alignment with DFHV’s other branding efforts.
