Overview

The DC Department of Employment Services (DOES) engaged Bayne LLC to provide event planning, marketing, and creative support for the American Job Center’s federally funded workforce programs.

Outreach and Engagement

Planned, developed, and implemented an outreach/engagement strategy to promote the work of DOES and engage DC job seekers, with a focus on increasing awareness of and participation in DOES services and programs.

  • Developed an outreach and engagement strategy.
    • Identified and set goals and success metrics.
    • Identified target audiences and existing communications channels.
    • Determined key messages.
    • Developed content for conveying key messages.
    • Developed and utilized existing channels for outreach and dissemination.
    • Tracked outcomes and adjusted strategies.
  • Led the development of an outreach/engagement plan (goals, methods, strategies, and budget) utilizing a variety of media platforms to maximize outreach and to reach hard-to-reach targeted populations.
  • Wrote and produced radio ads to promote the American Job Center.
  • Develop an agency impact video and a welcome video for the American Job Center
  • Produced a mini documentary about the Project Empowerment program.
  • Developed outreach materials for distribution via social media (g., Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram).
  • Developed outreach materials for distribution via WMATA (Metro Bus signs, bus shelters, rail dioramas, and the rail liveboard network).
  • Developed, created, and printed all graphic art utilized in the outreach program.
  • Developed and created content messaging for all aspects of the outreach an engagement plan.
