Bayne LLC planned and executed two Back-to-School: Beyond the Book events for the DC Public Library Foundation. The multi-site series supported educational readiness and community engagement through school-supply distribution, entertainment, family activities, branded materials, and coordinated event operations.
Scope of Services
Event Planning and Coordination: Developed event timelines, managed budgets, coordinated stakeholders, and organized the operational requirements for two neighborhood library locations.
Vendor and Production Management: Procured and coordinated audiovisual providers, DJs, furniture vendors, entertainment providers, and other event support services.
School Supplies and Branded Materials: Managed the preparation and distribution of school-supply kits and promotional items for participating children and families.
Staffing and On-Site Execution: Supervised vendor setup, event flow, attendee needs, volunteers, activity areas, and overall execution at each site.
Key Deliverables & Highlights
Two community events delivered at Bellevue and Benning Road libraries.
Professional DJs, audiovisual support, games, and family entertainment.
More than 300 school-supply kits and branded giveaways distributed.
On-site staffing and volunteer oversight throughout both activations.
Post-event visual documentation for recordkeeping and impact storytelling.
